Happy Halloween

So, it seems Halloween is almost upon us again. I don't know about you, but it kinda crept up on me this year.
I'm still looking to update my Autumn wardrobe while everyone else plans their Halloween costumes!

Anyway, with that in mind, I've got to thinking about Halloween 'outfits' that might take less time to put together, for any fellow last-minuters :-)

How about taking a dark mythical print dress and adding some spiky heels (or studded flats)? Simple accessories like a black spherical bag add to the mystery, along with some plum lips or nails and smokey eye make up.

This one is my favourite, and possibly the easiest to create right now with the Victorian gothic inspired dresses we've been seeing lately. I love the Cinderella inspired bag with this look, this one may be pricey but I'm guessing one could be made or even borrowed if you've a mini princess/cinderella in your life?
The lace up boots here and black gothic makeup should be easy enough to find.

Maybe try raid a relative's jewellery box or search a charity shop for some striking jewels.

Now this one shouldn't be too difficult. I had started with a cat woman vibe here with a black jumpsuit. (This one's from Topshop but they are pretty much everywhere!)
But then I came across these amazing shoes! I'm sure if you can't track down this exact pair, a bit of clever DIY could add on some wings to your preferred choice of heel?
This embellished bag and heart necklace add a bit of Juliet-style bling to your classic Saturday night jumpsuit.

For those who find the whole jumpsuit thing a bit cumbersome, how about a black or white Grecian style dress, like the multiway dress seen below? This could be more comfortable if using a chair, or like me, heels aren't an option for you. And, you'd be sorted for the next few weddings that come your way.
This one is Debenhams, and comes in a great choice of colours and is reduced to €103.60 at the moment.

So, how's your costume/outfit coming along?
